We just announced Qualitate announced a $25M Series A led by Insight Partners.
Our revenue run-rate has grown more than 10x this year, and our AI interviewer has now conducted more than one million minutes of expert interviews. That’s roughly 17,000 hours of conversations, or about 16 years of work for an analyst doing four calls a day.
For me, this is a full circle moment. Going from writing the first check into the company when it was just an idea that Sagar pitched me while I was a partner at Crew Capital - to joining him full-time 2 years later, and to now helping to raise this Series A.
When I joined Qualitate in the spring, Sagar and I knew that one of the first orders of business would be raising our Series A. One of the first calls I made was to my friend Crissy Behrens at Insight Partners.
Insight is one of the largest venture capital firms in the world, with decades of experience investing and supporting software and AI companies like Databricks, Wiz, OpenAI, Clickhouse, Anthropic, Fireworks, and more. They’re also great people, and we are so excited to be partnering with them.
People make markets
Every meaningful business decision comes down to a question only people can answer. Will customers buy this? Which competitor is winning deals, and why? Where is the industry heading?
The ways business leaders gather information to support decisions haven’t changed in decades: expert network calls, surveys, and consulting engagements. They work, but they’re slow and expensive, so companies ration them for their highest-stakes decisions. Every engagement is a one-off transaction, consumed by one team and then forgotten.
AI introduces the opportunity for a radical departure from that one-off services model.
When the cost of running a primary research interview collapses, research no longer has to be rationed. It can run continuously, and every conversation can build on the last one.
That’s what we’re building at Qualitate. Our AI turns primary research from a scarce, expensive service into an always-on infrastructure layer built into every decision a company makes.
AI has already changed how the world writes code, practices law, and runs customer support. Market research, strategy consulting, and expert networks are next.
How Qualitate works
Qualitate is the first continuous intelligence system for primary research.
AI interviewer. Our AI interviews experts across AI, software, healthcare, industrials, financial services, and other industries. It turns those unstructured conversations into structured data. We’re the first platform in the world to quantify qualitative primary research.
Custom research. Customers launch their own studies with the AI interviewer, reaching experts in any sector, anywhere in the world. That research lives in their private Qualitate library and is never shared with other customers.
Note-taker. When customers want to run their own calls because they want to talk to the experts themselves, Qualitate generates notes and a transcript from every conversation.
Compounding context. Every conversation informs the next, whether it’s led by a customer or by our AI interviewer. The AI draws on that context to ask sharper questions, and our research agents show teams what changed and where to dig deeper.
Everywhere you work. All of it is available via API and MCP.
The result is a system that knows which products, competitors, and markets each customer cares about, recognizes when something meaningful has changed, and points research at the questions that actually move their business.
As Sagar tweeted this morning: RIP the Magic Quadrant, the 80-page consulting deck, and the $2000 expert network call.
We’re hiring across every function, come build the future of market research with us.
